I'm not impressed by the article. It really over generalizes. Seems to me the author is merely reflecting his own dislike of the quality of research. But not all studies have small sample sizes, etc. And many studies are meant to be introductory with further research recommended. One doesn't undertake a 'Framingham' type study of everything. It isn't practical.

The problem isn't necessarily 'most' studies. Rather, the problem is we really do need to do a better job teaching kids how to interpret research results. I see it as one of those teach the masses to fish rather than feeding them. We work diligently to educate but what we really need is to teach people how to educate themselves.
