... even though I'm culinary-retarded, we can help Sibby decide on a name for her art e-auction website, no? It's a project I have to finish for JSP class, I need to name it or I'll go mad (again). Any suggestions?

Don't know much about this on-line auction stuff, but I'll give it a shot.

Off the top o' my too-sober head: "Cyber Muse" comes to mind.

Is the site online, or should we come up with names sight-unseen?

Sight-unseen, unfortunately; it is still on the works, as the semester is not yet over. I'm looking for a name before I design its visual, so they can match.

And this name should have something to do with food? Can you tell us more?

Artech

Where the 't' is a joining point showing that it's a conjoin of 'Art' and 'Tech' (for the e-auction part). This was so fun when I was in school. Or somthing along those lines.

Mm... food... no, no food
Anyway, the idea is:

- person registers in the site. Right now, I'm only implementing the e-auction bit, because that's what I need for college. If I really like it, it'll have a gallery to show off your art (like deviantArt), forums and all that jazz.

- the person will put up an original piece for auction. These will mostly be traditional art (since digital is a little silly, since all copies are original copies). Other users will be able to bid and all normal e-auction stuff.

Great suggestions, y'all. Keep 'em coming, I have time (as far as the end of the semester, really).
