A few days ago and under the mistaken impression that they own it, the Bush Whitehouse went after The Onion for using the Presidential Seal in an article. This is their response:

Actually, that one is just a tad on the tasteless side.
But then I may be a little biased since I've recent discovered the dubious joys of hemmorrhoids and bloody shit and don't find the subject at all amusing. Growing older sucks.  |

Indeed, and I agree entirely.
But I couldn't resist it -- she always looks so smug to me.
One of the few good thing I've found about getting old is that, at my age, I can annoy people by pretending to be getting senile and saying, "Eh? Say what?" a lot, although there has been some discussion as to whether I'm really pretending....

I haven't seen it myself; found an atricle on another site. I looked for it at The Onion, but failed to find it. Due to fonts, I don't visit the Onion very often any more.
Espritch; I don't hang at II since they changed the format, Can't read the font. I miss it, as it's a fun and informative forum. Alas. I lack the patience for JREF beyond a regular look at the home page.
