According to these guys: http://bioresonant.com/news.htm

The real danger for our entire civilization comes not from slow climate changes, but from overheating the planetary interior.

It's funny because I see no where else on the page which says that we are causing (or will be causing) it to explode. And no where else does it say how to stop it.

The other weird thing is that no where on the page were they selling stuff or asking for donations.

Of course, then there was the whole "mass media consipracy" and an appeal to how Plato said that it has happened before.

The home page is pretty funny as well.

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

This claim reminds me of another alleged (Y2K) "cataclysm" a few years ago, involving polar icecap melting/changes altering Earth's magnetic poles... author of book referred to a speculation by Einstein. Wanted to capitalize on Y2K hysteria and sell books, it appeared. These folks motives are less-clear, at least from a superficial glance.

Seems like an "elaborate" hoax to me. They refer to a journal called "NU journal of discovery". This is an online journal that was started in 2001 and has since had a massive four (4!!!!) papers published - all by Thomas Chalco.

METHINKS IT IS LIKE A WEASEL

Wow, talk about scientific credibility... I guess I can stop sweating now. A zillion questions came to mind, anyway. What, exactly, is moderating this "nuclear reaction," why is it changing, and how does he know? What's containing it (otherwise we'd have radioactive lava, it seems)? If there is something containing it, why aren't we seeing the predictable radionucleides from neutron bombardment in lava rock, and why aren't they changing over time (I mean, the "pile" has to be depleting)? Why is it "getting ready to blow" instead of cooling off? I know about "resonance" but don't see how it fits in here. Wait, rock won't contain it, iron won't work, but maybe... nah, still, nevermind.
