In my travels through other fora, I was routed to this one by an arguement with a fundie. The forum was for members of the GLBT community and their supporters. Some fundie types came in and started spouting false and misleading crap which I felt compelled to counter with linked sources.

Makes interesting reading and describes a few folks posting style to a tee.

He had to add some as fundies started getting called on the old ones. There is another that has been suggested but not added yet. "Waving the baby" -- When the fundie bemoans damage to the children to offset some damaging information to their cause. For instance, the story about the pastor being electrocuted elicited a response by the forum's current fundie of "well at least the child being baptized wasn't hurt". The problem is that there was no child to be baptized, it was an adult baptismal.

It's a little bit odd that someone would take the time to make that big a deal of people who are so far left-field that no one would listen to them in the first place!
