So I log in as my zombie, to check on some survivors in an adjacent block to where I'm standing with 4 other zeds, and find that someone said, in my block,Check next door for some survivors.. oh yeah and if you wouldn't mind tearing me limb from limb it would be appreciated. That got a smile out of me, especially since he's still standing there. |

Holy Moses. I've seen elsewhere screenshots of blocks with 300+ zeds in them. I've also seen older threads on message forums about a zed group called "the Many" which numbered in the hundreds and which tore through a number of neighborhoods. Though I don't know how long I would survive, it would be fun to fight my way through such a thing! |

Oh-- and I find it quite humorous that the town subject to this mauling is called Chudleyton. Anyone remember C.H.U.D. at all? |

Well, seeing that many in one spot was a new one on me. I thought the reports coming in about "a lot of zombies at the mall" were exaggerated, so I went down to take a peek myself. I almost shit myself. I don't know what they're planning, but if they start on a roll I think anyone would be hard-pressed to stop them.
Fully loaded with ammo and APs I can take down maybe 3 zombies. Now, considering if the zombies have the "ankle grab" talent they can stand up in one AP, even killing them isn't going to put them down very long. About the only way I see slowing down a zombie mob like that is hitting as many as you can with revivication syringes, assuming they haven't taken "brain rot" to make themselves immune. Then at least they need to get into the nearest building and jump out a window if they want to continue fighting as a zombie.
But honestly, if they want to be zombies and are intent on killing you, they will always win in the end. All they need to do is stand up again if they die. You need to find ammo and health kits and stay alive and revive the fallen with syringes and dump bodies outside before barricading buildings back up...much more stuff to waste points on.
So, in summary, we're all doomed I tells ya, doooooooooommmmeeed!

Okay, some nice soul revived me. I'm staying down, however, until tomorrow night. Will anyone be in chat who'll be able to get rid of my damn infection? |

I don't need revivification, I need antibiotics. And I'm unwilling to even have my character stand up until I know I'll be able to get them, so details can be tossed around in chat. |

Mab, in order to cure disease all you need to do is use a health kit on someone. You should be able to heal Dave's character.
And I know it's across town from you guys, but at last report the zombies in the mall were at 450+ and growing.

What's the maximum number of items a person can carry? I've got 20 first-aid kits right now, with no indication that I'm getting loaded down. |

I reached that with one of my guys, but I forget the number. It's high-- I had something like 6 pistols, 4 shotguns, 5 revive syringes, 5 FAKs, a flack jacket, an axe, a mobile phone, some fuel cans, and a few bottles of beer and it was only then that I was told I'd reached my limit. Dave, with 20 FAKs, that's 100 XPs! On Wednesday we should meet up with full APs. With the diagnosis skill, I can go ahead and tell you who needs heals. You can follow along and do the healing. You'll level up in no time. (I think Ricky has a guy with diagnosis, too...) |

Well, I'll keep searching for FAKs until early Tuesday night, then, since I'll be back up to 50 APs by chat time. |
