Once again, no substance. The beneficiaries of U.S. benevolence live in Utopia, and all those who would criticize any policies of the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. and their friends obsequiously bow to evil.

You're not about discovering the truth, you're about smearing those that you don't like.

WTF??? Does this mean something or is it a bunch of hot air? You've been taking obfuscation lessons from your hero, Gorgo. Do you really think life was better under the Taliban for the people of Afghanistan? Do you really think life is "better" waiting for bin Laden and the Al Qaeda to rain more terror on our heads? Or do you really side with bin Laden in his goal to destroy civilization and the evil United States?

One last comment: Those of you in the Chomsky circle jerk cult can always play your ace card whenever your ideas or values are criticized. Obviously, the critic is an unwitting tool of the propagandistic media who is engaged in a smear campaign and is a lying sack of shit. The more I analyze Chomsky, the more I realize that he and Jim Jones must be brothers.

Couldn't help it today, folks - ad hominens are flying from my fingertips because I'm so goddamn sick and tired of this unadulterated bullshit.

Of course the world didn't stand still. The world grew.
In a couple of years, the new highway came through
And they built it right over those two stubborn Zax
And left them there, standing un-budge in their tracks.

The author of this poem is nameless here, but appears to be the work of Dr Seuss, who is of course, an elite member of the corporate media, practically assigned by the Eisenhower administration to indoctrinate children into understanding the miracles of capitalistic imperialism. He has obviously left out a great deal of history in his account. Such things as the oppression of the South-Going Zax by the North-Going Zax, the intervention of the CIA, and of course the IMF "structural adjustments" which keep the South-Going Zax in poverty. The poem obviously takes the side of the North-Going Zax, although the exact words aren't used, one can easily tell that the author wants to show children that the North-Going Zax is a "freedom-fighter" and the South-Going Zax is a "terrorist."

The remark about the smear campaign has to do with your ideas about Faurisson and the Khmer Rouge. If you have some other coherent statements to make, please let me know. Can people shave their beards now that the Taliban is gone? Sure. What does that have to do with anything? Did someone say that the Taliban (funded in large part by the US/UK and friends) was not a nasty bunch?

Thanks, Tokyodreamer - I've decided on my own poetry tonight, in honor of Gorgo, since mere prose words fail me at this point:

Poem #1:

GORGO
And mine's much the same. Fool with money is Diocleides.
Seven drachmas for dog skins, uncured leather with the hair scarcely off;
And five fleeces he took yesterday - absolutely filthy: work on work.

Poem # 2:

Ma'la dh` kekorhme'nas Go'rgws.

Very weary of Gorgo.

Quoted by Choeroboscus about A.D. 600 to show the Aeolic genitive with -ws. Gorgo is mentioned by Maximus Tyrius with Andromeda as being friends of Sappho.

Bill Travers: maybe best known for his role as George Adamsen in "Born Free", but he's appeared in a ton of films.

William Sylvester: I knew this one without even looking it up! He was in "2001" as the NASA guy, Dr. Heywood Floyd. Again, he's had a lot of character roles, including parts in "The Hindenberg" and "Heaven Can Wait". (OK, those I had to look up... )

VERY GOOD! Yes, William Sylvester is best known for playing Dr. Heywood Floyd in "2001" and, of course, Bill Travers plays George Adamson in "Born Free".
