Brown to start emergency planning consulting business
quote:
Former FEMA Director Michael Brown is starting a disaster preparedness consulting firm to help clients avoid the sort of errors that cost him his job.
Who would hire this bozo to protect anything they care about?
quote:
"I'm doing a lot of good work with some great clients," Brown said. "My wife, children and my grandchild still love me. My parents are still proud of me."
I would like to see some evidence before I believe those claims.

Oy veh!

[Devil's advocate] But then, let us be generous -- Brown did "a heck of a job" committing almost every fuck-up there is during and after Katrina, so who would know better that he what to avoid? [/Devil's advocate]

P'rhaps if his clients take his consultation then do just the opposit...?

IIRC, he's had another emergency preparedness job at a local level and screwed up there, too.

He doesn't seem to learn from the mistakes.

I saw that on MSNBC's website a while back... had to doublecheck and make sure I wasn't on The Onion.
