Theres something inside me that says these people are making this stuff up because a company or foundation is more likely to settle than fight.

I dunno. It certainly doesn't seem likely, but there are a fair number of animal keepers, amature and pro, who could be described as *ahem* having lost their objectivity. And some are pretty wigged out.
Been a long time since we've seen Slater. Wonder what became of him and wish he'd come back.
