   It is neither.

There. Your question has been answered; now it's only fair play for you to answer the one addressed to you. I really don't understand why you don't just put it to rest -- it is all simple enough. Indeed, a mere 'yes' or 'no' will cover the matter nicely.
Here's another question for your contemplation:
Given that the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second,
and given that many Interstate speed limits in the US are 70 miles per hour,
how fast will the light from the headlight of a southbound 1981 Harley Davidson FLH, on I-77 at midnight in North Carolina be traveling?

New thread, time for the friendly reminder.

Trick question: nobody driving such a machine on that road would use the headlight. |

No, no; he'd use the headlight -- he'd just be too wasted to see much of anything with it....

  Dear Professor Engineer sts60
Your reasonings are only ridiculous. Cassini's mass is 6 tons. You can find an orbit for Cassini round our planet but not round the sun, 6 tons are insignificant for the sun at the distance of Saturn.
Try to retort with something intelligent.

  Here's an intelligent retort, Punchinello.
Explain exactly how and why the earth's Gravity will affect a 6 ton object and the sun's won't, when we know that there are many 6 tonners and even lighter in the Satellite Belt orbiting quite nicely around it. Remember the Satellite Belt? It's that vast boulder field between Mars and the great big orange one.
Also, what about them man-made satellites and motorcycle headlights, hmmm?

BB, try to reply with something intelligent. You have yet to do so.
Are there man-made satellites in orbit around the Earth right now? Your avoidance of this topic is ridiculous.
Yes or No? The answer is so simple that even you can understand it.

  You believe in science fiction.
Do you know there are 15,237 colored asteroids orbiting round Pluto?

The correct expression is asteroids of color, or perhaps astro-solarians.
But that is a question, not an answer. Please give an answer to the following question. It is a simple yes or no question:
Are there any man-made satellites in orbit around the earth?
  Thanks in advance for answering.

No, bigbrain, you have played this game for the last time. No more distractions. You don't want to answer the question so you throw every hot button issue you can think of which is unrelated to the question. And now you are so desperate to escape it you have to drag up something from March.
Answer the question or go infect some other forum.

Ha, ha, ha, I am managing the game, not you.
You have never gone to Saturn because you have not technology to go there.
Show with a real movie that you have gone there.
