I read in the newspaper about NASA's Stardust probe collecting particles to try to learn more about the early solar system (see this thread), and on the very next page was an article about a Gulla translation of the bible. I couldn't help but be struck by the irony of one group using science to try to gain knowledge of how we got here, and another who spent 26 years translating a bunch of fables into a damn near dead language.

Remarkable how simalar the quest for knowledge to evolution. Some branches prosper and thrive, while others die out over long periods of time. ;-)

Looks like the subtitles to the opening credits to Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail. The movie was vastly more entertaining.
