This monday, I'm checking out two Phillip Klass books from the library. I've never read his stuff before, so I'm looking forward to it.
Additionally, here's a bit of trivia.
Triangular UFO's have come t be verey popular in UFOlogy, but they were not really reported until the 1980's.
The reports of them became common around the same time that the military was, apparently, test flying the Stealth.
Coincidence? Conspiracy?
Or just some woo-woo's who saw the stealth, didn't know what it was, and assumed that since we don't know what something is and can't conclusively prove what it is, then it must, with 100% cetrainty be an alien vessel?

This is my favorite UFO website. James Mosely has been doing the UFO circuit since it first become popular and he's met most of the folks that speak at the UFO conventions. His insights are quite funny at times. |

sounds good to me. I know that I use Philip Klass books with my work with UFO believers.
His plasma theory kind of sounds fishy to me. I think there are far more simple explainations out there.
His book on the victimization of people that feel they have been abducted by aliens is very important.
I would also highly reccomend Phil Pattons book about "Dreamland" for a take on the people that watch just a few too much in the Nevada desert. Very informative, and a good history of the place. Which while it might not be hiding aliens, does have some pretty nasty secrets. |

I myself tend to favor explanations other than obsucre atmospheric phenomenon or things like plasma. I tend to prefer misidentification of conventional aircraft, or the odd sighting of aircraft that are prototypes, secret, or perhaps just not well known to the public. |
