How to survive a robot uprising, By Daniel Wilson

Read about this little book in the Science Times and boy is it my cup of tea. This great handbook is full of ways to thwart those pesky evil robots you may encounter in the near future. Everything from avoiding swarms of nanobots to fooling the tracking systems of laser eyed mega-androids.

Funny in its seriousness, Dr Wilson is quite familiar with modern robotics and details how to beat all sorts of robotypes like UAVs and the more dangerous human controlled robots, not to mention automated vacuums and smart houses.

"...things I have neither seen nor experienced nor heard tell of from anybody else; things, what is more, that do not in fact exist and could not ever exist at all. So my readers must not believe a word I say." -Lucian on his book True History

"...They accept such things on faith alone, without any evidence. So if a fraudulent and cunning person who knows how to take advantage of a situation comes among them, he can make himself rich in a short time." -Lucian critical of early Christians c.166 AD From his book, De Morte Peregrini

I heard about this book, but haven't managed to buy it yet. Lookin' forward to its release in buyable prices over here.

I just turned to my geeky husband and told him "THere's a book out called "How to Survive a Robot Uprising", to which he replied, "I know, I bought it off the Internet last night for $5."
