I remember when, back in the 1970s, Penn and Teller, plus one other fellow whose name I do not recall [I've since found that his name is Weir Crisamer], used to perform on San Francisco's Broadway, in a magical stage show titled, "The Asparagus Valley Cultural Society." I believe the show ran for years.
I was lucky enough to be able to participate, when the act came out into the audience, when I was asked by Penn to tighten up a crotch strap on, I believe, Teller's straightjacket.
In one of the acts, Penn Jillette announced that he was going to make a rare "Chinese Snow Leopard" materialize. In no time at all, a white bunny was duly pulled from a top hat with a triumphal flourish. "That's no leopard!" Penn announced.
Here's something even better, the real McCoy, a beautiful snow leopard recently photographed in remote north-west China, using a sensor-equipped remote camera.

What a beauty! Such a pity the fur trade has them all but hunted to extinction.
Thanks for the eye candy....

Yes indeed: a rare gem. I was gifted with the opportunity to see one, live, in our zoo over here. Marvelous creatures, they are. |
