| I self exiled myself from a forum that was a side show from the BABB (before the BAUT). But it wasn't religion. It was politics. They ganged up on me for Bush bashing. I didn't mind as I've been known to hold my own in a debate. But when I logged on to find my posts deleted as opposed to just locking a forum, that was my limit. |

we are from Unexplained Mysteries the skeptical and religous side, I can't count how many times on a daily basis we had to remind a religous person of that. I'm sorry to hear that beskep. so is this the cyper space of the misfits???? Whatdo they say if you can't beat em make your own group, strength in numbers something like that....Namaste sheri |

| I'm going to have to visit that UM site. I don't think we are misfits here at all. I post on the BAUT but they forbid religion and politics to keep it civil for the sake of science discussions. And I go on JREF occasionally but it's so big I end up staying too long. The skepchicks forum branched off from JREF. It's brand new. It's great for additional women's issues as well as skeptics. Here we discuss religion and politics and more and despite the nature of the topics manage to stay civil pretty much of the time. |
