Quasi-platapus like creature found in China, 100Million years older than previous oldest Edit: aquatic mammal.

Nice find, Big Poppa!

There is no reason to assume that mammialian life was much less diverse during the ages of the dinosaurs than it is today. Just smaller and not so many. After all, they and we are all decended from the thecodonts of the Devonian.

I will not be suprised to read of other, far older finds.
