How about re-growing cartilage in hip-joints and blood-vessels in the neck of the femur? |

What's wrong with stainless steel and no blood, Dr M? I wouldn't mind an organ tune up and a bit of muscle mass I don't have to work to maintain. |

The limited warranty on the artificial implant. The expected lifetime of one is 15-20 years. I'd still be in my mid-fifties, if I'm lucky, when it needs replacing. The second one won't last as long as the first one. In the mean time, I can't do any of the sports I actually enjoy doing (not that I'm able to do it now, but if a stem-cell treatment could heal me, I could). My current stainless steel implants has upgraded me to version 1.1 but I'd rather revert to 1.0 than going for 1.2 with a limited life span. |
