The story gets better. The whole deal to give them this cash was their promise to crack down on the drug trade. Well, I guess Shrub and Co thought the Taliban was doing a pretty good job, so hence the cash. Now, on cnn.com today there's an interesting story. The UN investigated and has come up with some serious charges. Seems they're not get rid of drugs, they're stockpiling them to stableize/raise prices for future funding. I haven't had the TV on in ages. Is any of this hitting the mainstream media?

Hey Slater. Back on the 25th, you told us about an interesting experience at the library. Any developments? Book banning of any sort tends to be one of my "hot buttons". I realize there are books that are unpopular and tough to find (you should have seen me trying to lay my hands on a copy of "The Prince"), but to make a book totally unavailable is wrong.
BTW, been keeping up with your debate over in the Religon folder. I'm another on that the fundies would love to burn at the stake. I'd never want to debate you though.
