More blather from Ken Ham and AiG. quote: We're taking them back!
by Ken Ham, president, AiG–USA
March 18, 2006
In recent years we've been choosing a special annual theme for the AiG ministry. This year I wanted to do something a little different: to give you the themes for the next two years, along with an explanation as to why we see them as so important.
2006: “We're taking them back!” and in 2007: “We've taken them back!”
Intriguing? I hope so! Let me explain.
As I wrote in a web article recently, a visit to England a few years ago was a turning point in my life. How? I had always thought of it as a very Christian place—the land of Wesley and Whitefield.
But when we arrived, I was, well, shocked! While I saw churches everywhere, many were being turned into stores and warehouses … even mosques! It was in England that the idea of a long age for the earth was popularized in the last 200 years or so. Sadly, many of the church leaders then adopted the idea of millions of years into the Bible, thus reinterpreting Genesis.
All becomes clear in the second to last paragraph: quote: As the museum's opening approaches, we need your prayers—and your financial support. As you partner with us in this great spiritual battle over biblical authority, you will be helping us demolish evolutionary strongholds.
So this is just another subtle yank on the tits of the cash cow. Y'know, AiG's pretty good at that....

Obviously this is revenge for the US throwing off the shackles of another authority (which oddly enough derived its power partly from religion too) 200 years or so ago. |

Hey, if they are anti-evolution you should welcome them...
