Nice postdictions you got there.

Tell me, according to Nostradamus, exactly what is going to happen next. Specific date, location, parties involved, and outcome.

OK, this seem like it might be a location. Can you give me something a little more specific, like a country, or how about GPS coordinates? Once we nail down the location, then you can tell us what will happen there, who will be involved, and when.

Kind of a non-sequitur there. Dust in the grand scheme of things? Sure, no problem with that. But what does that have to do with some imagined being?

Depeche Mode??? that is hardly a universal reference - I wouldn't recognize them if they bit me on the leg.

This whole thing is such a stretch that I suspect our legs are being pulled.

The orignal post may have been a bogus Nostrdamus quote. This may explain why the original poster would not provide a link. The similarity of the posters name to that of a Moderator makes me suspect someone with a grudge against the good evil Dr Mabuse.

Perhaps we should look for hidden prophesies in songs of Robert Johnson

Has anyone here ever read a translation of the Centuries? I have, and they made my sinus' implode. Reading gibberish is ever tough going.

But y'know, it did cross my mind that April the Oneth is all but upon us. Unfortunately, if this is a gag, it is not all that well executed. If I were doing it, I'd "deck the halls" with home-brewed quatrains, that d'Nostredame never even thought of, and reference the Centuries as a whole. I'd get away with it too, because no one in his right mind would try to look them up, and I could then bitterly accuse everybody of intellectual shiftlessness and ultimatly incite to riot.

For those that like to see the same train-wreck from multiple angles, it would seem that drmabus is posting pretty much exactly the same drivel and non-arguments over at the skepticality forums.

Click here if you want to lose another couple of minutes of your life forever.

It seems like the real Dr Mabuse has his work cut out for him!

John's just this guy, you know.

I've long been wondering about Hypnotoad. According to Futurama (my favorite cartoon), Earth (or at least New New York City) circa 3000 AD has/will have a thriving population that includes humans, mutants, space aliens, and robots. But it's not at all clear to me whether Hypotoad (there only seems to be the one specimen) is an intelligent entity. It's also not clear whether Hypnotoad is an exotic space creature, or a mutated Earth animal.

With its highly developed powers of coercion, to seems to me that intelligence for Hypnotoad would be gilding the lilly, evolution-wise. I hope Filthy is able to receive Futurama, and, along with others, has some toadological comments concerning the need, or lack of it, for a highly deveolped brain in a creature capable of hypnotic control. And I won't even bring up the Brain Slugs.

I have the whole series on disc. It's favorite of mine as well.

All of the studies of the Hypnotoad have been inconclusive. Every scientist who has tried to examine him/them have ended up evangelizing for him/them throughout the galaxy, and staging sit-ins at the Bureaucracy chanting:

"All Glory to the Hypnotoad!"

Thanks, Filthy. I was afraid that something of that sort might interfere with studies of the Hypnotoad. In conclusion, I simply feel compelled to add: "All glory to the Hypnotoad!"

Thanks for the link. I hadn't realized there were so many Mars missions.

Such a pity they were all faked by NASA buffoons....
