I blundered into this while looking for something else. It read like the boys had a great trip, but to state this claim? Without embarressment? Yeesh!

Anybody wanna bet where the (ahem) object is on display (assuming that it is indeed displayed. Or even found as discribed)?

Quote from above article:

quote:
The cliff decomposing before our eyes was direct evidence for a young age of the cliff, and indirect evidence for a young age of the river, and the earth.

At most, IMO, they have direct evidence of how young the river is. OTOH, from where the quote is taken from, they did say that the river had risen a couple of feet the night prior, so that may have been a contributing factor. Evidence of a young earth, OTOH, hell no.

quote:
know without a doubt, that the Lord was on our side today. I think He allows us to get into impossible situations so he can provide and take us out of them. He surely deserves all the glory. If I have learned anything today, I have learned we can depend on the Lord no matter how bleak the circumstances may seem.

Somebody shoot me.

quote:
Because of this and the abundance of bones one is led to believe these are the bones from many animals, not just one or two who happened to die here. What kind of water catastrophe occurred to deposit all of these bones from all these animals? Noah's Flood?

I'll give them the flood bit. But that's it.

quote:
Just before lunch, I organized all of the dinosaur bones into numbered packages for the trip home. Each person will be responsible for taking one full two gallon zip lock bag with them.

Now, according to their notes, they found a lot of bones and that a few were heavy due to fossilization. Either they found quite a few small animals or a lot of small bones off of dinosaurs or they just grabbed fewer bones then they claimed.

quote:
Suddenly, Jimmy shut the engine down. The prop was churning up the mud and the water was only two feet deep. The first thing the four of us did was to look at our watches. We were grounded a mile out in the Arctic Ocean on the Colville River Delta and we had a plane to catch in four hours. We all jumped out and began to push the boat. We had to try to find deeper water. This wasn't anything new to us, we had done this drill many times in the week before. But who would have guessed we'd be wading around a mile out in the Arctic Ocean! Much to our relief, we were free in about fifteen minutes. How much more adventure could we take? Thanks Lord, for providing for us again.

They thank their lord many times throughout the trip. WTH did he do? They did all the work. They did every damn thing. And what'd god do? Not a bloody damn thing.

And finally:

quote:
If we can find numerous biomolecules in the Alaskan bones, it may help us to show that these bones can't realistically be 70 million years old. For instance, scientists from the University of Montana were surprised to find what might be the chemical remains of blood cells in the bones of a Tyrannosaurus rex. Even the scientists admit the cells should have long ago disintegrated. The process of biochemical decay starts soon after death. Imagining how these molecules could stay preserved for millions and millions of years is difficult.

One word: Frozen.

If it's anywhere other than a religious museum, I'll move into the Vatican.

I like your tagline, Filthy.
