sts60 you want to *GET OUT OF IT*......not that easy......
Get out of what? You're the one trying to hastily move on from discussing your claim that a long-dead, preindustrial mystic predicted the loss of two spacecraft in 1999: we are far beyond the 1999 quatrain....
Zond 2, Mariner 8, Mars 7, Phobos 1, Mars 96, Mars Observer, Nozomi, Beagle 2, and many others. Several pairs of which were lost in the same year. None of which were "king"like, created "terror", or had any resuscitory power. |

X.49:Garden of the world near the new city, In the path of the hollow mountains: It will be seized and plunged into the Tub, Forced to drink waters poisoned by sulfur. I think we'll be getting some rants about 9/11 next. Of course, the sad part is that we were supposed to have "good luck" after September (or July) of 1999. |

drmabus mistakenly thinks it's a real-time chat, that's how. |

Not quite. He thinks it's a real-time SHOUT. Soon he will be shouting "ARE YOU SLEEPING?" as midnight marches across North America and many of us turn in. |

RACK OF LAMB
Rack of lamb consisting of 8 to 9 chops & weighing about 2 1/2 lbs. 1 clove garlic 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. fresh ground pepper 1 tsp. crushed rosemary 1 sm. onion, chopped 2 stalks of celery, chopped 1 carrot, chopped
Preheat oven to 475 degrees (3/4 hour). Combine salt, pepper and rosemary. Rub rack of lamb with garlic and season with mixture. Cover ends of chop bones in strips of foil to prevent from charring. Place the rack of lamb in a shallow roasting pan and add chopped vegetables around rack. Roast at 475 degrees for 20 minutes and reduce to 400 degrees for 1 hour. (Basting lamb every 15 minutes will enhance flavor.)
When rack is done, carefully place on platter, remove the foil and let rack of lamb set 15 minutes to make carving easier.

Dealt with, Ace.
Astrologically insignificant as the event happened before the last quarter. Astrology is a bitch when it doesn't support your contention. |

No problem. Nostradamus said in his latest quatrian that he can't hit and will be traded to the Diamondbacks.
Edited to fix context. |

I'm a little surprised anyone here is trying to dicuss this topic rationally. I think filthy's recipe has been the most appropriate response thus far! |

Yeah, but now I'm all hungry.
I'll go ahead and say that rational responses serve a purpose too - I will claim (most immodestly) as an example that by breaking down his Mars claim line by line, and staying on that topic*, drmabus was at least forced to confront enough reality that he became uncomfortable and tried to move away from it. Not enough, unfortunately, to make him actually examine his own conclusions.
Hey, drmabus, in the interests of fairness, I will examine my own conclusions if you can either: - show where Nostradamus unambiguously spoke of spacecraft failing at Mars in the year 1999, or - use his quatrains to specifically and unambiguously predict a significant world event or combination of events, the kind which don't happen regularly, within one month. Notice I said "predict", not "claim as a hit after the fact".
*You get a lot of practice doing this debating Apollo hoax believers. |
