Absolutely a terrorist!
It's much easier to label someone a terrorist, and lock him up at Guatanamo Base, rather than combatting the root problem. |

Ya, like applying a few software patches every so often. :)
I'm just curious what this will do to the UFO field. I'm a bit of a skeptic since I've never seen one personally, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. If he really has such images, I'd love to see them. :) |

FYI, what he did was against US law, and I'm not defending his actions in any way. I'm simply interested in watching this case unfold to see if he really does have that kind of leverage. :) |

If top security computers were so easy to penetrate the pentagon should be grateful to him for exposing the problem. Very sloppy indeed. |

quote: SK: Is it possible this is an artist's impression?
GM: I don't know... For me, it was more than a coincidence. This woman has said: "This is what happens, in this building, in this space centre". I went into that building, that space centre, and saw exactly that.
SK: Do you have a copy of this? It came down to your machine.
GM: No, the graphical remote viewer works frame by frame. It's a Java application, so there's nothing to save on your hard drive, or at least if it is, only one frame at a time.
SK: So did you get the one frame?
GM: No.
SK: What happened?
GM: Once I was cut off, my picture just disappeared.
Ok, now I'm rather skeptical. He's not sure if the *single* image was an artists impression, he never went back to try to retrieve the image again, and evidently he's never heard of CTRL-ALT-PRINTSCREEN. Somehow I get the feeling that if he actually downloaded something he thought was the real deal, he would have been smart enough to figure out a way to save the image to his computer. This sounds mighty fishy to me. :) |

I think the guy is lying his ass off. His claim that with a "4bit colour" and "really, really low" resolution image he was able to tell that whatever he saw had no rivets or seams is ludicrous on its face. My guess is that he got caught poking around in government machines, and has concoted this UFO stuff as a way of generating sympathy in the hopes he won't have to face justice in Britain, where several years ago the main UFO group disbanded itself after a drop in UFO reports after the cancorder revolution. Americans, though, will eat this stuff up, and even help the guy postpone his trial for years with bogus demands for non-existant evidence. |

I also really loved his explanation about about how the "single" Java image that he might be able to capture conveniently "disappeared" the moment he was "cut off". It sounds like a cheap publicity ploy to me as well. |
