That's an interesting observation. I hadn't thought of it that way.

I do hope there is much more scientific investigation of hypnosis. Perhaps more experiments that are well designed, and employ competent practical hypnotists, could help to get a fuller understanding of this still-mysterious phenomenon. Also, greater knowledge by the medical community might result in fuller acceptance, and appropriate and more common use of hypnosis in anesthesia and chronic pain control.

I've got three shows tomorrow night for after-prom parties and I'm sure they'll all go well. I had one show last week that was very rough, though. One day, if you're interested, I'll have to share with you guys the trials and tribulations of a stage hypnotist. The shows that go over well (fortunately, that's the large majority of them) are what make it all worthwhile being a performer. It's the tough shows that are hard to swallow.

My question is, has anyone ever successfully hypnotized a hypnotoad?

Thanks in advance and all glory to the hypnotoad!
