I think the guy is indeed at least somewhat mentally ill. Seems to me like a reasonable jury decision.

Radical Islam has had great success preying on the mentally ill, especially people with depression. If someone is suicidal they persuade them to blow up a bunch of Jews, Shiite Muslims, Infidel Soldiers etc while committing suicide.

Umm, Filthy, I think you've misinterpreted my admittedly questionable grammar.

What I meant was not "nobody but credulous idiots considers them martyrs", I meant "they are generally considered credulous idiots, not martyrs".
