Rove voluntarily step down? I don't buy it for a second.
Now, unless it will be like Rumsfeld's "resignation" and Bush will just refuse to accept it.

Dunno if we'll ever see it -- probably not, Bush'll get him off to save his own, criminal neck -- but we can dream.

Getting closer all the time...quote truthout.org: Karl Rove Indicted on Charges of Perjury, Lying to Investigators
Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald spent more than half a day Friday at the offices of Patton Boggs, the law firm representing Karl Rove.
During the course of that meeting, Fitzgerald served attorneys for former Deputy White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove with an indictment charging the embattled White House official with perjury and lying to investigators related to his role in the CIA leak case, and instructed one of the attorneys to tell Rove that he has 24 business hours to get his affairs in order, high level sources with direct knowledge of the meeting said Saturday morning.
This won't be good news for George W. Bush with his approval rating bobbing just below 30%. The time can come when a president's popularity wanes to a point where all the damage control he can muster won't help. This just might be the week.

Well Im sure he'll just run the Republican party agenda from Levenworth or where ever they send him. |

Well, we could maybe get a rumor started that Rove was Jeff Gannon's liaison during his unlogged, White House visits. That would cost him the Religious Right's suppoet (they'd be screaming for his very nuts!) and really, the way things are going, the RR's about all the administration has left. And some of those are getting a smidge impatient that Bush has yet to sign theocracy into law.
Hell, I dunno. It might even be true.....

That's just too funny considering the legislation the republicans are about ready to bring up, again. |

Don't know and the possibilities are just too hilarious to contemplate. Lots of hypocritical scumbaggage hanging out at the White House these days.
I'm reading now that the announcement of a probable indictment of Rove might have been a tad premature. I'm currently in a wait-and-see mode with my fingers crossed.
