Interesting Wikipedia article. I get the impression that "truthiness" also allows for more refined lying. The older "half-truth" seems more specific to one lie at a time, whereas "truthiness" permits a cloud of lies at the service of an agenda; or maybe a general overall authoritarian air that is peppered with a few half-truths and many lies. Fox News commentators for example.

Diversity, independence, innovation and imagination are progressive concepts ultimately alien to the conservative mind.

"TAX AND SPEND" IS GOOD! (TAX: Wealthy corporations who won't go poor even after taxes. SPEND: On public works programs, education, the environment, improvements.)
