*Amateur Night* WTH is that?

It is the night that those without the know-how, without the sense of style and sophistication, try their un-tutored hands at the drinking of alcoholic beverages.

Mumm's (from Napa Valley) the word.

And then foolishly decided to operate heavy equipment, ie, anything heavier or more complicated than a dessert spoon.

Ah. So basically any night that college students are drinking.

Actually, the Amateur Night of all Amateur Nights is New Year's Eve

College students are always amateurs when it comes to drinking, so they do not count. It is the grown adults, added to the small fry, who are the New Year's Eve amateurs par excellence.

I never, ever go out on New Year's Eve. Too dangerous.
