Gotta respect this guy in a way. At least he actually believed what he told his flock, and was willing to test his hypothesis. Too bad he hadn't researched the matter, first. I wonder how many budding infidels he created that day?

Well, that's what happens when you don't have enough faith. Obviously some doubt must have crept into his mind at the last second, otherwise he would still be alive.
I wonder if that means he died a non-believer?

Oh, NDEs are nothing new. If you die and think you see Jesus before they resuscitate you, that's an "eye witness testimonial" that Heaven exists.
