Funny, even if it does sound a bit implausible.

Ignorance is preferable to error; and he is less remote from the truth who believes nothing, than he who believes what is wrong.

It's a miracle...he was cured of delusional thinking in one fell swoop.

"We are all connected; to each other biologically, to the earth chemically, to the rest of the universe atomically."

"So you're made of detritus [from exploded stars]. Get over it. Or better yet, celebrate it. After all, what nobler thought can one cherish than that the universe lives within us all?"

Gotta respect this guy in a way. At least he actually believed what he told his flock, and was willing to test his hypothesis. Too bad he hadn't researched the matter, first. I wonder how many budding infidels he created that day?

Well, that's what happens when you don't have enough faith. Obviously some doubt must have crept into his mind at the last second, otherwise he would still be alive.

I wonder if that means he died a non-believer?

Did anyone notice the Tee shirt ads on the left with "Defeat Communism Again, 2008" written over a picture of Hilary?

Check out the link at the bottom of the page:

Astonishing! New scientific evidence heaven is real
(http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=48914)

From thew article:

"It includes medical testimonials, first-person accounts of "resurrections" from the dead and the latest developments on the scientific front."

and then...

"The Evidence for Heaven" is like an electroshock treatment for skeptics."

Sounds painfull. Think I'll skip it.

Oh, NDEs are nothing new. If you die and think you see Jesus before they resuscitate you, that's an "eye witness testimonial" that Heaven exists. If you die and think you see Ganesha before being resuscitated, then that's proof Heaven exists but infidels are just seeing it wrong because of a cultural predisposition. And if you die and don't recall seeing anything before being resuscitated, then clearly you were too frightened by the fires of Hell to open your eyes.
