I just picked up World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War yesterday. I just finished it this morning. From the jacket to the book itself, you really step into an altrnet world, one where Zombies almost take over the world.
The early warnings, the governmental mistakes and denals, to the "Crisis", to the final push out of the protected zones, the survivers of the war tell the tale of a world that was almost completely overrun with zombies. It is a compelling tail that I could only put down for sleep.
If you like zombie stories or movies, but always wondered what a real world wide zombie attack would be like, this book is for you.
