I had to vote for VI TUC, Sulu was just too much.

To dork actor Christian Slater in his bit role,
"You have hearing problems, Mister?"

In response to his engineer that he is pushing his starcraft too hard,
"Fly her apart, then!!!"

My favorite Star Trek quotes were both from "The Undiscovered Country".

I liked the one where the Klingon explains how you can't really appreciate Shakespear until you hear it in "the original Klingon". The "old Vulcan saying" that "Only Nixon could go to China" was pretty good too (an in the same vein).

So my friends and I went to see the new Star Wars movie on opening night (because, yes, I am that kind of dork). While we were all seated among the rowdy crowd, one of my friends leaned over toward me and said, "should I be an instigator?"

"Absolutely," I replied.

My friend then slinks down into his chair and says in a very loud voice, "boy, I sure hope this is better than the last Star Trek movie. Insurrection sucked!"

There were about 250 hard-core Star Wars fans in the theater, none of whom could figure out which jackass just said that.

-me.

In my opinion, the whole title of this thread is an oxymoron.

By the way:
quote:
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country - Peace talks and a shape-shifting Iman, niiiiiiiiiice.

quote:
PERVERTS, PERVERTS, ALL OF YOU!

Uh, what was I saying? Oh yeah, well if you HAVE to pick the best out of a bad lot, I'd say ST X. Why? Easy. It's not out yet, and it'll likely be the last one. (still better than those &*$&$ James Bond movies though. Someone should really take the batteries out of him (or put him in a mud pit with that damned pink rabbit!)
