Were fossils created ex nihilo during Creation Week?
There is another possible explanation regarding fossils and Dinosaurs … I don't see it as a lame attempt at trying to fit creationism into science … it is the very real possibility that the earth was created with age just as Adam was and that the fossils and the geological formations we see came into existence the day the earth was made.

Also, on Day 6 God supernaturally created Adam and Eve as mature adults ready to communicate with God and each other, tend a garden and procreate.
The kick to the pleasure centers of the brain is that once you get past the usual tripe, his argument begins to apply equally well to no god at all. Read on and enjoy.....

The logic is airtight, though I disagree that the bible says god made a sphere.
So, given that logic, the creation myth in the bible remains 100% incompatible with modern science. Works for me. |

I especially loved this part, where Dr. Terry Mortenson compares the actual observed world with the work of an unskilled tinkerer. quote:

It's a good thing for Mortenson's "incompetent engineer" that evolution does the tinkering automatically, isn't it?
And you're right, pleco, Mortenson deviates wildly from Biblical Truth when he claims the world is described as a sphere. Why lie so obviously about this part of Genesis, but then defend creation ex nihilo?
