Now why didn't I think of doing that over the years with the past 10,000 telemarketing calls!
Funny bit, for sure!
Couple of other 'get even' tactics to use at home against telemarketers is to when you identify the call to be a telemarketer, interrupt them politely saying "Can you excuse me for just a second?", then set the phone down, don't hang up, and just go about your business. The other was to ask them to please speak a little softer. Then say that's too soft, speak and little louder. Right away say that's too loud. Then repeat the whole process until they hang up.
