Wow! quote: 'Assassination' schedule announced for Congress Radio-show host says leaders won't be allowed to 'betray' nation
Uh, Hal, ol' sport, didn't our fathers get rid of the Nazis 50 & some odd years back? Except for some wannabes, of course. Hey, are we gonna have to take up where they left off? quote:
© 2006 WorldNetDaily.com
Hal Turner
A radio talk-show entertainer whose earlier statements that he "may" have to assassinate members of Congress if the wrong people were elected Nov. 7 now has set a timetable for those killings.
In a statement on his website, Hal Turner noted that a newspaper has reported that a bill granting amnesty to illegal aliens is expected to be enacted in January, when the Democratic Party takes control of the U.S. Senate and House.
"ANY MEMBER OF CONGRESS WHO INTRODUCES, CO-SPONSORS OR VOTES IN FAVOR OF ANY SUCH AMNESTY WILL BE DECLARED A DOMESTIC ENEMY AND WILL BE CONSIDERED A LEGITIMATE TARGET FOR ASSASSINATION," Turner posted on his website.
A quick Wiki on Hal has rendered this: quote: Turner is an independent media personality and occasional candidate in various state elections although he hasn't run since 2000. Before launching his own talk show, Turner was a regular caller (known simply as "Hal from North Bergen") to conservative Sean Hannity's and Bob Grant's talk shows on WABC radio in New York City.
In 2000, Turner sought the local Republican Party nomination for election in his local congressional district but lost to Democrat Robert Menendez and six other candidates (including another Republican, Theresa de Leon). [3] Afterward, Turner had a reported "epiphany", deciding the political system was rigged against White men (de Leon is Hispanic) and abandoning all ties to the mainstream.
An epiphany! Wow! And it continues on: quote: The Hal Turner Show Turner's radio program originates from a studio in his home. It and his website both were shut down temporarily in 2004 due to personal financial difficulty. His website returned in November 2004, and he re-started his radio show in June 2005. His site received more than 2.8 thousand page loads in its first year back on the web.
Turner has been criticized by the Southern Poverty Law Center for saying, "I advocate using extreme violence against illegal aliens. Clean your guns. Have plenty of ammunition. Find out where the largest gathering of illegal aliens will be near you. Go to the area well in advance, scope out several places to position yourself and then do what has to be done."[6]
Turner was interviewed by a number of news outlets in 2005 after it was revealed the FBI interviewed him following the murders of the mother and husband of federal district judge Joan Lefkow. Two years earlier, on his worldwide shortwave show, Turner stated that a decision made by Lefkow against the World Church of the Creator made her "worthy of being killed". After the judge's family was murdered, Turner posted a photo on his website of Judge Lefkow with the Headline "GOTCHA!".[citation needed]
Turner routinely goes after federal, state, and even local officials by exposing their home addresses and even publishing leaflets that citizens can print locally, to show their unhappiness with judges whose decisions they disagree with.
This goober is a waste of toe-jam, and the only reason I dragged him out of his dreary little corner of Bedlam is that I'd never heard of him and he seems to have a pretty spectacular case of cerebral scrofula. How has he gotten by me for so long?

Isn't it a federal crime to advocate the killing of government officials? I know you can't talk about the president like that... |

I'd say that actively plotting and organizing the assassination of anyone would be grounds enough to cart this guy off to jail. I sure hope so.

Am I reading that right? Only 2800 page loads for an entire year? (Isn't that what 2.8 thousand means?)
If so, it would seem this guy is very, very small potatoes.

Yeah but the idea can have a massive impact and only requires small potatoes to pull off. |

I think the "2.8 thousand" is a typo. "28 thousand" is probably closer to correct. And he has a radio show, of sorts, which can reach a great many kindred spirits. Big Papa is correct in that he can certainly make a fairly large potato's impact. And there's no guarantee that he'll stay small spud.

I'm surprised that this guy isn't already ducking conspiracy charges. I would say that if he posted the Judge's personal information, he could at least be convicted of depraved indifference, if not accessory before the fact. I predict that this type of behavious will blow up in his face long before he gets real popular. |

Remember the John Birch Society? They claimed Nixon was a commie. Of course that's not as bad as advocating [you know what*]. People are so weird.
