I'm certainly amazed. I'm amazed that there are apparently people out there that will eat up such lying crap and fake footprints.

Wonderful! Simply wonderful! What an excellent story! I laughed, I cried, I speculated upon what these folks smoke and if they would share it with me.
Bigfoot is very generous. He gave Wonder Water Woman a marvelous rock.
Unfortunatly, she doesn't seem to know that the real gift is inside the rock. Being as it's quartz, it could have a bit of gold in it, and she should pound it into powder at once, then put a bit of mercury through it and retrive the valuable gold dust.

Even a belief in "orbs".
This is a quote from the article. It appears next to a picture taken at a campfire where many "orbs" can be seen: "That night, and every night, there were many Orbs around the fire as well. The Orb photos on this page, are the real thing, and although it looks as if I am pointing at the Orbs in the photos, I actually did not see them until the pictures were developed. Wow! I get another Star for seeing things I don't know I am seeing!" (bolding mine)
Simply amazing.
Lets see: (smoke + ash) + flash = (light reflected off out-of-focus dust/ash) Nah, couldn't be.

I love the teleportation abilities of not only Sasquatch, but dolphins and whales!!! She's "seen" dolphins disappear. I wonder if their disappearance has anything to do with them possibly diving deeper than she could or swimming beyond the limit of visibility of the water?

She writes:
quote: I left some food on the picnic table near the cabin as a gift to the Sasquatch.
and...
quote: ...we put our left over food from yesterday into the fire - tomatoes, potatoes, macaroni salad and even the styrofoam plate. They would smell all of that and know it was humans.) For some forest residents of the animal species this fire would represent a sign to stay away, to avoid the human species. But to the Sasquatch with their curiosity and their willingness to respond to our thoughts and words, our fire welcomed them and they came close.
Yeah, them - and the bears! This Chippewa says: Sure, the forrest can be mysterious but don't go in there all foggy headed and leave food around or you might have uninvited guests. (Also, who would want to burn Styrofoam? P.U.)

I think she manages to fuction on a daily basis because she is on the supply end of fakery, not on the consumer side. To me, making those fake footprint casts pretty much required a conscious effort to deceive. So I don't take any of her comments about her beliefs seriously. She's just making up shit and promoting lies. Must have a book coming or something to sell.

One thing did occur to me: Maybe the lady is as credulously crazy as she sounds, and it was her hubby who has been creating the "evidence" to either humor her, entertain himself, or both.

I don't think that our Joan is mentally ill. I think she & friends are just having some fun with True Believers (tm). And being perhaps a believer herself, she made up her story as she wishes it could be, complete with, heh, evidence.
Years ago, I had a friend who was something of a minor, commercial rock hound. He would hunt for geods to saw open and anything that could be polished. He had various equipment for this, including a large diamond saw, tumblers, and buffing wheels. He would sell his now very pretty rocks at craft fairs and the like. The above pictures look for all the world like a polished section sawn from an agate. Keith used to cut them, grind and polish them, glue a piece of felt to one side, and sell them as coasters. He did pretty well with them, along with his other stuff. These days, you can buy similiar 'most anywhere.
I note that the closeup is not particulary well focused.
Sooo, what we have here is, essentally, a spoof. A complicated and rather soggy spoof, but a spoof none the less. I found it highly enjoyable.
