You mean about the damn coffin inside the pyramid? First of all, that comment about laser technology, unless the Egyptians had more sophisticated equipment than we did that somehow got totally destroyed with no evidence left for us to find, is totally wrong. We have the ability, with lasers, to cut down to practically the molecule off things.
And besides, of course we could make a similar sized coffin today. What does he mean, the coffin "was cut so accurately that we could not even recreate a
similar coffin out of rock today - even with our laser technology!" That's utter and complete bullsh*t.

Lasers to cut granite? What a piss-poor way to cut granite! Gimme a torch, a chisel, a hammer, and a beer.
My grandfather was a sculptor of no minor note and his medium was granite. He considered granite to be the easiest and best material for carving.
There's no mystery how to work granite. The method haven't really changed, just these days it's faster with gas torches, iron chisels, and power winches.

Actaully they use high pressure water jets to cut most rock. Unless the blast it with dynamite. You should have seen us when a machine came back from a mine with a live cap in it. LOL

Yeah, well, the bomb disposal unit wouldn't let us anywhere near it. The problem was ATF, the machine had been transported across state lines!

I shouldn't have said 'cut', I should have said sculpt. A friend owns an old retired quarry, the method they used around 1900 was dynomite, wedges, and lots of manual labor.
Ugh. No thank you. Everytime we go there, my wife wants to add rocks she finds to her garden. "Look, Hun (short for honey in our family, as in Attila the Honey), that one looks like it's less than 100 kilos. Why don't you bring it to the truck?"

I just got back from the BA board, and what in the heck is going on? We've got Piper, Rob, and Dave all posted at the same time? Who left the door open? Moon hoaxers, pyramid-building space aliens and government conspiracies are too much to handle at one time.

I'll do ya one better here Bozola. I was stationed in Memphis when they brought the Memphis Bell home. As part of the color guard during her homecoming trip I got to tour the old bird. There were four of the that landed in formation. Talk about prop wash.
I may just have some old picts hanging around that I could scan and upload.

Okay, who made Keith the "don't use insults" gaurd dog on the BA board.
Keith's also not getting the Orion-Pyramid match up thing... or lack of a match up. "look at this, they match perfictly if you flip it to the mirror image and rotate the image like this...." Please...
okay, I know what a snip is, but what the heck is "prop wash"
I would love to see Scans of the Memphis Belle :)
