SO FAIR GAME.... kill any kids lately?
No? Why not? Doesn't the bible say to do that?
Well how about sacrificing 32 virgins instead?
Not your idea of a good time?
Know anyone who masterbates and finds favor with your god?
What was the order of creation? Are you sure?
How many commandments are there anyway?
So I guess you think that little fish symbol is really christian eh? And has nothing to do with say.... pagan rites?
Why did god need a tent? Or a house for that matter?
How come minor angels are given the same title as god?
more quetions to come to the next sicko....

And, you may not stand for us, but I doubt you could make any man 'stand' for you.
As a matter of fact, bitch, you have to tolerate us. The era where Giordano Bruno could be burned alive, where thousands of people could be murdered for 'witchcraft', where fuckwitted fundamentalists controlled the government, that era is over.
Democracy is spreading. Knowledge is increasing. Standard of living is increasing and it will continue to increase.
We aren't going back to the dark ages.

Actually, Xev, I wouldn't worry too much about us Pagans. Most of us are armed and have no problem in defending ourselves to the fullest extent of the law. A new "burning times", I'll be dead before I see it. (as in killed resisting it)
And you've insulted all the fuckwits out there.
The bible does not promote nazism, abortion, pornography, etc.
If you look closely at what my brother and I wrote, we didn't say it did. The whole point of the article was to say that you can proof-text anything, as creationists always do with evolution texts. We used the Bible as an example.
Tommy and I both answered this criticism before. You can read our responses to these letters here:
Dawn, Ihope for your sake that you will accept the glories of God and not reject him and spit in his face after all he has done for you. I don't see how anybody could forgive you. Although I know he will becuase he says that in the Bible, or did you miss that part.
*sigh*
I'm not asking anyone for forgiveness. I stand by what I wrote.

I am an agnostic myself, who's biggest dream is to thrash Pat Robertson on his own show in front of millions. That would be cool.
I guess that makes me a devil-worshiper for viewing fundies like Robertson, Fallwell (misspelling intentional), Chick, Hovind, and Purchased (misspelling again intentional) as a group of idiots who couldn't work their way out of a paper bag with a chainsaw and a head start!
And besides, they take religion too damned seriously!

I just wanted to throw out this link I found today. Notice in the first paragraph how that lie about evolution being behind all modern ills is repeated as fact.

Lemme see if I got this straight. If you teach your children that they are decended from monkeys they will behave like animals. So then it must follow that if you teach them that we are all decended from a pile of dust they will treat people like dirt.

OK, maybe I'm wierd, but...
When I first read the subject of this thread, I thought it was gonna be from some guy who was gonna use the Bible to show that it wasn't so evil to be gay...

Well ya know we could always go off topic.....it's not hard to. I mean, Jesus hung out with 12 guys all the time and wore a dress and talked about loving fellow men. It seems pretty clear to me

Y'know, I first heard that idea from a webpage called Swenson Funnies. It's not for the kids, but it has a comic called "The Cynic," that proponents of the "Jesus is Gay" theory might want to look at.

Gravity, not just a good idea...it's the law!
Have you ever heard Sam Kinison"s (sp?) rant on "Proof Jesus wasn't married"? A guy goes out with 12 of his buddies, known vino drinkers all. Guy disappears. Comes back and says "honestly honey, I would have called, but I was dead". Ladies, you know what the ensuing melee would have been like. SOMEONE would have written that down. Lisa

I was gonna stay out of this one. Living as I do in a virtual bedlam of deep-water Baptist fundyism, I've heard it all before. Indeed, I can almost predict the exact wording of the condemnation that consigns my foul soul to the deepest pit of hell.
Fair Game, yer borin' the shit out of me.
Hey look, Evolution (or God, or The Great and Caustic Mojo, however you must have it) gave you the ability of analytical thinking. A gift not used is a gift wasted.
At least come up with something original when cursing me. I think that's the big problem with fundie anything. Little, if any, original thought. "If it's not in the Book, it can't exist," so to speak.
Hmm. The Naz was hanging out in the Palastine gay bars with eleven good buddies and one, treacherous scumbag? Who'a thunk it!?
