I'm just bummed that Foresberg couldn't be there to play: the Series probably wouldn't have made it to game 7 that way ....

Yeah, Forsberg was missed and I agree that his presence might have ended it sooner. A seventh game is so exciting, though, and such a rarity in the Stanley Cup finals.

I never thought that the Av's would win it when they were down 3-2 in the series after game 5. That win in NJ on Thursday was awesome and so pivotal to their momentum last night. I'm Cup Crazy, you betcha!

Bradley:
???????? Is this post supposed to mean something? Am I in trouble for posting something non-serious on this board??

In case you don't understand "Guy LeFleur", I'll explain it. Many years ago, my hubby and I went to a lot of hockey games with a very mediocre NHL team that used to be in our area but moved away. The Canadiens came to town with the amazing Guy LeFleur and we liked his name so much (the "Guy", of course, pronounced like "Gee" with a hard G) that we use his name as an expletive when we experience something really cool. Kinda silly, I know, and an inside joke for me and my spouse but there you have it. The Av's win their second Stanley Cup and we say "Guy LeFleur!"

See the appendix of George Orwell's [i]1984[/i} entitled "The Principles of Newspeak."
Oh, and that's "prolefeed," not prolfeed as I so misspelled it.

I'm sorry, I guess I'm a complete moron. Please explain this completely incomprehensible comment to me, a person who is undoubtedly a complete idiot who read "1984" so long ago that I can't find my copy (and I'm certainly not going to bother to try). Am I supposed to shut up? Am I supposed to post only "relevant" topics? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?????

Do you have a problem with my excitement about a team winning a championship? TOUGH!! Unless you explain what the hell you're trying to say, give it up and go post on a topic that you care more about. Obscure references to "prolefeed" don't trip my trigger, buddy, but I do get mighty irate at folks who can't explain what they mean.

Now, Bradley, let's try again...
