Mark it on your calender, it's important. That is when the Mayan long count calender ends and the Crystal Skulls, all 13 of 'em, will become united. Do skulls hold key to world salvation?

New Earth Festival hears of the legend from Walter Rice
You've got four and a half years to get ready for "it."
According to folklore, 13 crystal skulls were created in a dimension other than this world up to 30,000 years ago and hidden in Central and South America. On Dec. 21, 2012, the skulls will reunite, activate and save the Earth from doom.
| Read on, it gets better.
Crystal skulls.

Well, it starts right out with, "According to folklore..." so it must be true.

Well; the crystal skulls and correlating them to aliens is not particularly new.
But the idea that these aliens are not simply from outer-space but from another dimension... that's only the second time I heard it.
The first time being in the Indy movie.
Funny how, as soon as some work of fiction become popular and mainstream, some loon come out of the wood-work to start treating it as a documentary. |
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. I just love New age nonsense! It is so easy to pick apart and scatter about like grass seed that it, if taken in large doses, could turn a skeptic dog-lazy.
As long as there are metaphysical conjectures and clever artifacts, this sort of crap will flourish. In other words, we're stuck with it 'till the extinction of our species.

This sort of stuff are like bikes.
They have to keep adding stuff all the time to keep momentum. If they stop a second and examine the whole story, the bike falls down. |

Like a Moto Guzzi Eldorado* at a stop sign?
* (Which filthy knows is a big, heavy Italian motorcycle that is a bit tricky to ride if one is light and wiry. Even my Dad (who wasn't thin and wiry) had to be careful at stops.) Bike had lots of updates and accessories too, like the Mayan calendar. |
