This is a graphic presentation of one of the songs that comedian-folksinger Roy Zimmerman sang when I attended his "Thanks For The Support" show in Mill Valley recently. It's also part of the new album named the same as his show. (SFN's own Boron10 will be seeing the same show in San Diego this Friday, as will both my father and brother.)
"I Approve This Message" begins with a wonderfully evocative guitar riff. The song is full of imagery, managing to combine the comic with the tragic in a way few poets or songwriters can manage. Thanks to bngbuck's suggestions, my graphic for "I Approve This Message" is somewhat more advanced than the one I did for Roy's "America," but does not include any music. For that, you will need to either attend a Zimmerman concert, or buy his new album.
