It seems that the American Family Association (which is neither of the first two words of its name) has banned the use of the word, "gay" in its news site, "OneNewsNow." These bigots reject this word, and substitute, "homosexual" in all useage. Automatically, using software.
So one can imagine the silly results.
According the Washington Post, OneNewsNow ran their "processed" AP sports story about an athlete who has qualified for the Beijing Olympics: Tyson Homosexual was a blur in blue, sprinting 100 meters faster than anyone ever has.
His time of 9.68 seconds at the U.S. Olympic trials Sunday doesn't count as a world record, because it was run with the help of a too-strong tailwind. Here's what does matter: Homosexual qualified for his first Summer Games team and served notice he's certainly someone to watch in Beijing.
"It means a lot to me," the 25-year-old Homosexual said. "I'm glad my body could do it, because now I know I have it in me." |

I read about that the other day and chuckled well into the evening. It just goes to prove that taking the easy way isn't always the smart way. But then, "smart" is a descriptive word that only occasionally & often accidently, applies to these folks.
The possibilities are extensive, for instance: Zorro the Gay Blade, The Gay Cabellro, having a gay old time, dancing gaily at the ball, and so forth.
I wonder if Mr. Homosexual Gay, who was unfortunately injured at a track meet day before yesterday, will take them to task over it.
