Just when you thought he couldnt' sink any lower...he does.
Members of a fundamentalist American church group planning to stage a protest at the funeral for a Winnipeg man brutally killed on a Greyhound bus have managed to enter Canada, a spokeswoman told CBC News on Friday.
Canadian border guards are under orders to prevent members of the Westboro Baptist Church, a controversial Kansas-based sect, from entering the country.
The group intends to picket the funeral of 22-year-old Tim McLean to tell Canadians his slaying on July 30 was God's response to Canadian policies enabling abortion, homosexuality and divorce and remarriage. |
Guess what? They play the victim card: However, Phelps-Roper said the reaction the group has raised from some police and public officials has her questioning whether the planned protest will go ahead.
"The question to my mind [is] whether or not we ought to get them the heck out of that country, because that's some crazy stuff when you've got your officials talking like they are in a back-alley brawl and not government officials who took an oath to obey the law and so forth."
Phelps-Roper said she would advise church members not to go ahead with the protest if there is a concern they might be arrested or harmed. |
That skank better get the hell out of our country: Our gov't isn't as messed up as the american one is when it comes to religion, and those Phelps people are going too far even for them!

Me, I'm looking forward to old Fred's funeral. It just might turn out to be a real circus. Hell, I might even attend, finances permitting.
Don't forget, he and his whelps, and their equally degenerate spouses, have gleefully desecrated the funerals of so many straight people that I wonder if gay-bashing was no more than an excuse for pouring what can only be self-hating vitriol on everyone they can find.
I'll be glad when you dead, you rascal, you! I'll be glad when you dead, you rascal, you! When you dead in your grave, No more women will you crave. I'll be glad when you dead, you rascal, you!
If there were a hell, I'm sure I'd see him in it.

Westborough Mass. is a classic New England town with a population of about 18,000 residents. Police department employ 20 full time men. They have a board of selectman. The town is well known for it's state hospital, a boys' school, and a state correctional school. Westboro is the town where I stuck myself with the fish hook, Lake Chauncy, it is located on the state hospital property. I live 12 miles from Westboro, I have spoken to residents and police about the Phelps. The town is small and they dislike the bad publicity the church and family give the town. I get the strong impression the money and power the Phelps present causes town officials to shy away and avoid confrontation.

In Sweden there's a saying: You can't eat the cake and save it for later. The townsfolk can bitch about the bad publicity as much as they like, but unless they actually do something about Phelps, they will just have to suck it up.
Next time you meet anyone from there, you can tell them I said: "What a bunch of F***ng morons those Westboro guys are..."

Errr. Actually it is, only more so. Our (yes, I am a Canadian) anti-hate laws make special exemptions for reasons of religion. Look it up. Canadian Criminal Code, sections 318 and 319. Steady yourself.

Fred Phelps: he's an even worse piece of maggot-infested, human rubbish than you thought.
"Though the children that remain loyal to him claim that they were only spanked as children, there is an abundance of evidence to support the claims of two of his daughters and two of his sons that Phelps was physically abusive to his children and wife. Phelps has quoted Proverbs, 13:24, as justification for endorsing child abuse: "He that spareth his rod, hateth his son. But he that loveth him, chasteneth him betimes." In the 1960s, Phelps instructed a parishoner to punch his wife to settle arguments with her; the parishoner was arrested and Phelps was forced to put up bail. The following Sunday, Fred's sermon focused on the righteousness of spousal abuse: "A good left hook makes for a right fine wife. Brethren, they can lock us up, but we'll still do what the Bible tells us to do. Either our wives are going to obey, or we're going to beat them!"
Phelps' sons Nate and Mark, who claim that they were among the most abused, each suffer permanent debilitating injuries consistent with their stories of Phelps beating them with a mattock handle. According to the boys, he woke them one Christmas Eve in the 1970s while under the influence, bent them over a bathtub, and struck them nearly 300 times with the mattock handle.
In 1972 the boys showed up to school covered in welts, bruises, and bleeding wounds; the school nurse determined that Nate exhibited signs of shock. The family was investigated by social services, but Nate and Mark claim that their father threatened them with death if they spoke about their beatings. Phelps likewise issued threats against individual police officers and school staff, and filed a lawsuit against the school claiming they beat his children; the charges against Phelps, and Phelps' lawsuit, were dropped, but the affidavit that the school principal issued to social services remained on file as concrete evidence to support the stories of child abuse.
In the early 1990s Nate Phelps was diagnosed as suffering post traumatic stress syndrome. He and his brother have each been diagnosed as having suffered damage to the muscle tissue and tendons in their buttocks and legs, and both have scarring on their backsides, which they claim is the result of Phelps beating them with a custom made four-inch-wide strop. Around 1994 Nate was diagnosed as suffering bone chips and severe damage to the muscle tissue in his knees.
Marge Phelps, the boys' mother, suffers from bone chips and severe cartilage damage in her right shoulder, consistent with a story three of the Phelps children tell about Fred throwing her down a flight of stairs.
The legacy of abuse is apparent today among Phelps' children; many of the Phelps children who remain at Westboro openly admit to using physical violence against their children; Phelps' son, Jonathan, boasted to the Topeka Capital Journal in 1994 that he regularly beat his wife, Betty, and his children. On occasion members of the church have even dared police and government officials to try and take legal action against them."
Sort'a gives the term "white trash" a whole, 'nother meaning doesn't it.

Reading the link... he is a damn crazy mother-fucker. Even worst than I imagined. I am surprised he did never actually got condemned for his many well documented abuses.
Also, I never knew he actually hated Swedes so much! |
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. I have some pity for the Phelps family, but I think it's better to avoid coming into contact with them. Confrontation is what they seek, and to them it's water off a duck's back. It is better in my opinion to avoid becoming associated with them in any way--even by opposing their legal protests. They're not making converts. |

| You are, of course, correct. Were I to attend Freddy's fun-eral, it would be as an observer of what might well, even probably, turn out to be a virtual circus of sanctimonious preaching, weeping & wailing, semi-obscene & celebratory signs in the streets, and a lot of low comedy.
