Was Bush drunker'n a rat in the 'still-house at the Olympics? Or is he just naturally mal-coordinated? Inquiring minds, well, inquire.

I have suspected that he has been back on the sauce since term one, and have mentioned that in here, but I am not so sure that this photo is definitive of anything beyond an idiot who, for whatever reason, can't negotiate the cheap seats.

He's an idiot who can't negotiate the cheap seats. What you see is what you get with this dip shit. He runs our government the same way.

lol, If there weren't 10 guys 'helping' him no one would've noticed this simple stumble.

Fortunate for all, around him at least, that he didn't hurl himself into an impression of Mr. Creosote. But of course there was no Japanese Prime Minister around, or bucket, so I guess his father still has that on him.

Heh, If there weren't 10 guys 'helping' him, he probably would have landed in the orchestra pit, by the look of it.

What a pity he's in such a position of power. He could great physical comedy a'la The Three Stooges otherwise.

As Jon Steward said on Yesterday's daily show: 'This guy should not be president; he should be our mascot!'.

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
Carl Sagan - 1996

And those same 10 guys probably also feed him his opinions and speeches - which he stumbles through, misunderstands and mangles anyway.

Diversity, independence, innovation and imagination are progressive concepts ultimately alien to the conservative mind.

There is no way he could be off the waggon and the public not find out about it. Is there?

My question. Based on how he acts, how would we ever know the difference?

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

Well, yeah. Alcoholics (I'm one) can be very clever in hiding it. They become so used to it that they act it out consantly. I would think that the Secret Service might be in the know but they're not talking, and won't.
