I like the inclusion of Karl the Fixer. It so nicely points out the evolution of the Republican Party beginning with the Reagan Administrations.

Subtle. Well done!

I thought the napping part was best. I have learned to love napping as I've aged. Why the Hell did I hate to go to bed when I was a kid?

(100 points for whoever figures out whose bare chest I used.)

Dunno; but it was really good!

Although... McCain in banana hammock? Shudder...

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
Carl Sagan - 1996

Is that what you call those things? Maybe I should have put him into Sean Connery's "Zardos" outfit?

Oh, by the way, yesterday I saw for the first time in my life a man wearing trousers in what my daughter insists is the latest "gansta" style. His belt was all the way below his buttocks, though at the normal height in front. The guy's underpants showed completely behind. I can only be thankful that the underpants are a fashionable accessory. This guy was in his thirties. He looked like he was crusin' for a wedgie. I'm not easy to shock, but I sure gave that guy some space.

Too bad his momma isn't dressing him any longer.

Mine? Oh, wait, no tattoo. I recall a Family Guy episode where Peter moved his belly around to imitate Artie Johnson, but I don't suppose that's it, either.

I find the snoozer entirely Representative of the American electorate for the last 8 years. Funny, isn't it, that they/we sleep until things are in such a mess that we are forced to actually think. We saw it after Bush 41, when he continued the Reagan idiotcy, adding his own frills, and we woke up & shitcanned the slimy fucker, and we're seeing it now.

Naps are one of the perks of advancing age and are sacred at my house.

A few months ago, we had one of these nitwits stick up a convince store. A local cop was on it very quickly and the guy tried to run away, but couldn't with his britches fallen down around his ankles. There was another one that easily got nabbed because he was wearing those shoes with lights in the heels.

The quality of stick-up men has deteriorated considerably since the days of Pretty Boy Floyd and I suppose we can partly blame fashion for the decline.
