Nah, not me. Whilst rubbing salt in the wound is always fun -- as long as the wound is not mine -- I'm trying to forget that such a wretchedly qualified person could ever make it as far as she did in national politics. And that an experienced old-timer could be batty enough to bring her forth.
But alas, I fear I've yet to hear the last of her.

About 50-1, but not all of the notes were gush and blessings and 2012. I saw one request, but I could not bring myself to want the same. Maybe similar, I'd rather see her on the rack.
edited to fix link. Looks like parenthesis get dropped from urls. added 'not' |

I couldn't resist. If only I had filthy's class.
6,671: 4:27 pm PST, Nov 6, David Glück, California Dear Sarah, Well, at least you got a new wardrobe out of it. Hey, the whole family got a new duds. It can honestly be said that Sarah Palin was the best dressed person on the campaign trail. That has to count for something, eh? I mean, what's a Republican if not well dressed? (Of course, I mean the Republicans at the top of the ticket. Did you catch the hats on some of those woman at the convention?) Anyhow, hang in there. Don't let the McCain aids bring you down. They are just bitter and need to blame someone. (They might even be socialists for all we know. Frankly, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they were working for the DNC terrorists, undercover, given how badly the campaign was run.) God bless you for everything that you have done. Those aides can be pretty bitter, too, though. (But funny message, Kil, although I wouldn't count on Palin to understand satire.)

| Kilbonics... I hate when I do that. On the other hand, I wouldn't count on Palin to catch my spelling error. |

Um, I've read that the riches of rags Palin absconded with are being pursued by the reminants of McCain's staff. It looks like she's gonna have to give 'em back. Tough titty, eh?
I think Gov. Palin might have herself a real warm winter, up there in Alaska....

Palin declared today on camera that she was wearing her own clothes (beats a couple of towels) and she brought no campaign clothes with her! Of course I believe her!
She is also terribly hurt by the meaness of her handlers and the unfairness of the press in revealing her historically unprecedented ignorance. Of course I empathize with her!
I truly hope that the next time she hunts a moose on foot that somebody accidently shoots her from a plane! |

WTF; are the McCain's aides expecting to sell the clothes back as second-hand stuff?
|
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. "Will no one rid us of this turbulent ex-candidate?" Oh, where are the drunken knights when you need a couple.
Anyhow, our Sarah isn't having any of this shit, especally about world geography and the shopping rip that the McCain campaign so foolishly left themselves wide open for. Sarah Palin fires back at 'jerks'
The governor and her aides dispute claims about her foreign-policy knowledge and $150,000-plus wardrobe.
By Seema Mehta and Maeve Reston 10:57 PM PST, November 7, 2008
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin swung back hard Friday against aides to John McCain who have criticized her foreign policy knowledge and pricey wardrobe purchases, calling them "jerks" who were too cowardly to speak publicly.
The former Republican vice presidential nominee told reporters in Anchorage that a recent Fox News report -- which cited unnamed campaign sources as saying she did not know Africa was a continent and could not name the countries involved in the North American Free Trade Agreement -- was false, and that her comments were taken out of context. Fox News' Van Susteren scores first...Sarah Palin returns to a chillier Alaska
Tensions between McCain and Palin camps come to light "That's cruel. It's mean-spirited. It's immature. It's unprofessional, and those guys are jerks if they came away with it, taking things out of context, and then tried to spread something on national news. It's not fair and not right," Palin told CNN in an interview. | I was getting weary of it all before; now I've just about reached the end of weariness and the beginning of amusement. If handled just right, it could become the real-life comedy that it deserves to be.

Those same McCain staffers vetted and defended Palin when their candidate chose her, and went along with the deal with the Devil fundies that McCain made in order to gain their much-diminished aid in the campaign. They are now standing on extremely hypocritical ground when they attack their collective choice for VP.
It's all pretty hilarious. Palin herself may eventually be facing criminal charges for Troopergate, but this is in a state that just re-elected a corruption-convicted felon as a US Senator. Hell, I love Alaska. I have lived there as a kid, and liked the people, but the people there seem to see themselves as loyal subjects of their politicians, not as responsible citizens in a democracy. They seem to adore whatever corrupt politicians come along -- and don't even require them to be smart crooks, as do the citizens of Louisiana!
And the GOP is probably going to remain the captive of, if not Palin herself, dimbulb fundy freaks much like her.
