You know, despite all the woo that's put on that show, Coast to Coast AM does have a useful link section for actual science news. And of course, more news of woo.
One just has to look at the sites to see if they're legit or not For example, this from National Geographic's site.
Everything in the known universe is said to be racing toward the massive clumps of matter at more than 2 million miles (3.2 million kilometers) an hour -- a movement the researchers have dubbed dark flow.
The presence of the extra-universal matter suggests that our universe is part of something bigger -- a multiverse -- and that whatever is out there is very different from the universe we know, according to study leader Alexander Kashlinsky, an astrophysicist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland. |
Is that not cool or what? I'm going to have to pay more attention to CtoC's link page.

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.
Another example of this guy's lunacy here. |

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. That is sad, actually. Still, (trying to salvage myself here) is that one of the point of my post is that the Coast to Coast AM site does have an interesting link section. (too late to change the title of the thread and get away with it, damnit).
EDIT: I didn't even have this thread in the right bloody section! Damnit!
That's it; I've got to spend more time hanging around here and less time fundy-fighting.
