Don't forget about Skepticality...

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

Nope, it's up over there.

By the way, what do you think about my new avatar?
A week late due to miscommunication (entirely my fault), it was made in honour of Thanksgiving (ok, not really. It's my avatar on another forum).

I like your new avatar. It works on my levels, not the least of which is that it almost perfectly describes a point of view that is probably the most common among those who post on these and many other boards...

I haven't decided if I want to keep it yet. Just wanted to take it for a test-drive, at least a few weeks.

The kicking baby was stolen from elsewhere, so it wasn't really uniquely mine. I thought it was cool, especially since I used to practise Ju-Jutsu. This new avatar is a pic I scanned from a local newspaper ad and edited for forum use.

Edit:
The kicking baby was also an appropriate description of me in my early years at SFN when I was a bit more "going-for-the-throat" kind of guy. I'd like to believe I've mellowed down a bit since then.

Sunday Afternoon Chat Summary:

Milk in the coffee, or something else. Winter is coming on the north hemiphere, in some places more than others. Loss of traffic at Skepticality Podcast Forum. Is the increase in smilies-use slowly replacing good language skills?
Food: edible or otherwise, like the Swedish lutfisk or surströmming.
A new skeptics society in Saskatoon. Deja moo.
