Well, Ricky has been run over by a truck, twice. I'd say, if anyone here is resilient enough to endure waterboarding, my bet is on him...
I figured Kil would be more resilient. Especially since in his younger days he routinely endured cold water in the face while on a board.

Now, now. I've been married twice to women who were completely wrong for me.

That's sort of like being waterboarded. Or at least like having your tender private parts slammed in a door.

Twice?!? What a piker.

I only gave up on marriage (though not on women, secularly bless 'em) after my last wife refused to visit me in the hospital after my stroke, then divorced me. So much for "in sickness and in health." (I won't recount how many times I've been married, but it exceeded a paltry twice.) Before that, I was always coming back for more. Of course, your getting cynical earlier on probably shows you have more intelligence than I do.

Well, I just decided to vote. Not wanting to be different, I just followed the most popular vote - Ricky. Sorry, man.

At this point, we are only leaving this poll up in hopes that Ricky will see it each time he signs on.

I got Active Topics bookmarked. I rarely visit the front page.

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.
