Another amazing and priceless object has joined the London Hammer and the inexplicable Coso Artifact in confounding scholars and dividing the scientific community.

There. That ought to put to rest all argument against divine intervention. An angel (obviously) in the sacred guise of
Alf went back in time and left his machine to be found, thereby taking another mighty blow at heresy, heathens, and the abominable Swiss.

One must assume that God, who would never abandon anybody, except stinking liberals, brought his faithful angel back to the present in his own good time, although there exists a school of thought that the fellow's been there all along, some six thousands of years, waiting for the Trumpet to Sound -- GLORY!!

Heh, right! I'd forgotten that thread.

I would not be terribly surprised if Baugh gets sick with envy for not being able to get this'n for his "museum." If what I've read/heard is correct, he already has the London Hammer and Coso, as well as other bits & pieces of historic trash. But that should be taken with a grain of salt; these characters lie so much that they themselves are uncertain of the truth of the matter.

It'll be fun to see how it's finally explained, although I'm pretty sure of how ir happened.

Oh, I suspect the "400-year-old watch ring" may be simply explained as a journalistic hoax, made up whole-cloth. The only name in the article is "Jiang Yanyu," and searching for that name only bring up the same story in many places.
