This guy seems to know exactly what he wants, and shows more good sense about getting it than most criminals.

I wonder if Bush'll pardon him?

Good thing it didn't escalate into a Dog Day Afternoon situation. That would have been rough, what with the place surrounded by the fuzz, barking out orders while keeping the usual pack of reporters on a short leash. The whole case could have turned out to be a real bitch.

Now, it just remains to be seen if they will ever collar the perp.

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

And the hounded offender shouting out, "I am not an animal! Oh, sorry, yes I am."

Okay, I can't resist...

Well doggone! With his mug plastered all over the TV, I guess he's gonna be in the doghouse tonight.

What I loved about the video was watching an expert at work. The dog has clearly done this sort of thing before. The fellow knew what he wanted, and planned the heist with utter efficiency. He just came in, went dierctly to the loot, grabbed it, and withdrew. If only President Bush had as much sense.

Here's a follow-up video. This dog is willing to walk a long way for a rawhide treat.

Probably took lessons from this arch-fiend.
